Fortnightly Webinar - Coaching: Help or Hype?
Coaching: Help or Hype? A Critical Analysis Through an Islamic Lens.
Is coaching just another trend dressed up in motivational talk – or can it be something deeper?
Many Muslims feel a gap when mainstream coaching overlooks faith, values, and identity. What’s missing is not skill or ambition, but a framework that speaks to the heart and soul as much as the mind and intellect.
Imagine coaching that doesn not stop at productivity or performance, but guides you toward clarity, courage, and purpose – rooted in Qur’an and Sunnah.
In this session, Dr. Imran will move beyond the surface of “self‑help” to reveal how Islamic coaching transforms doubts into confidence, fears into direction, and guidance into a sacred trust.
Key objectives:
The what and why of coaching – understanding its purpose and potential.
Why secular coaching is problematic – identifying gaps in worldview and values.
Navigating fears and doubts – addressing the inner hesitations of becoming a coach.
-The IILC holistic coaching framework – a faith‑rooted model that integrates psychology, spirituality, and personal growth.

What is Islam & Psychology Fortnightly?
The rate at which the impact of secular psychology is expanding is unprecedented in this digital age. Every other person, channel, and platform promotes and advocates ideas for solving life problems. However, the assumptions and the principles bombarded upon us are flawed and twisted. Consequently, it makes us question the degree to which we should apply it in our lives, as much of the advice being showered upon us does not meet Islamic values. Thus, bridging this gap between the modern discourse on psychology and Islamic principles has become the urgent need of the hour.
This is where ‘Islam & Psychology Fortnightly’ comes in!
The integration of Islamic values with contemporary psychology practices makes Solace unique in this field.
