Theme: A Guided Journey for Shepherds and Qawwams

Author and Facilitator: Muhammad Javed (Founder of Muslim Launchpad, Author, and Leadership Development Trainer)

Men are often expected to remain strong under pressure, carry responsibility, provide for and lead their families, perform at work, and manage challenges without always having the space or tools to understand what is happening internally.

Yet strength is not simply the ability to suppress emotion. True strength also involves self-awareness, self-control, resilience, wisdom in relationships, and the ability to respond well under pressure. This is what makes a true shepherd and a qawwam.

We will explore this in depth in our four-week guided journey with Muhamamd Iqbal and his book – Nurturing Emotional Intelligence: The Prophetic Path to Inner Harmony and Personal Growth.

This is not a conventional book discussion where participants simply talk about what they have read.

Over four weeks, participants will be encouraged to reflect, apply, and change.

Through selected readings, guided discussion, Prophetic examples, personal reflection, journaling, and weekly action steps, participants will begin identifying patterns in their emotions and behavior and develop practical strategies that can be applied in their:

  • Relationship with Allah SWT
  • Marriage and family life
  • Fatherhood and parenting
  • Work, leadership and responsibility
  • Friendships and social relationships
  • Managing pressure, setbacks, anger and difficult emotions
  • Personal growth and the pursuit of ihsaan
